Free Pebble Hunt Event in your city

A Collective Project at the Heart of the City !
"We were delighted to launch a collaborative project in Nogent-le-Rotrou, in partnership with the Perche Tourism & Commerce Office, the Label Friche Gallery, and the CM2 students of Marcel Pagnol School. Together, we brought to life a unique pebble hunt that combines art, heritage, and discovery." — Fanny
The Project
More than 60 decorated pebbles were passionately painted by the CM2 students and a few local artists. After an exhibition, these pebbles were scattered throughout the town of Nogent-le-Rotrou, allowing all residents and visitors to participate in a fun and creative experience.
The Themes of the Hunt
The pebbles were decorated around two main themes:
- The Heritage of Perche: Drawings representing the history and landscapes of the region.
- Animals: Illustrations inspired by local wildlife and imagination.
Here are some examples of pebbles decorated by the students and local artists :

A Great Success!
The event was a great success with 56 discoveries reported for 46 pebbles found. 14 pebbles were kept by the budding pebble hunters, and many others were hidden again in the region, continuing the adventure.
Participant Testimonials:

Tracking the Painting Rocks
One of the most exciting moments of this activity was following the journey of the traveling pebbles. A small beetle painted on a pebble traveled through the town and even made some unexpected trips! Who will be the next to send it on its journey? A mystery...
